Current long-term recovery volunteer opportunities
Habitat for Humanity’s work in communities affected by disaster continues long after the event has passed. While there are not immediate opportunities for volunteers who travel from outside the affected areas, there is a need for help once the long-term recovery begins.
Below you will find where Habitat is currently engaged in long-term recovery work, and where volunteer assistance is needed and welcome.
If you are interested in volunteering in one of these areas as an individual or group, please select the local Habitat organization where you would like to give your time. You’ll see more details about the community and be able to provide contact information the local Habitat in the affected area can use to reach out to you about scheduling a time to volunteer.
The needs of each community are different and the number of volunteer opportunities may vary. The local Habitat offices in each area will decide how many volunteers are needed, the dates available and will contact you directly with more details.
The recovery of the affected areas will take time, but with the help of volunteers like you, residents will continue to build strength, stability and self-reliance in their communities.
