Trip cost: US$1,730
Join this 11-day Global Village trip building new homes and rehabbing existing ones in Kaua’i, Hawaii.
Join us for a volunteer trip to one of the most beautiful destinations in America. On this Global Village trip, you’ll help a family obtain a safe, decent and affordable home and experience Hawaii’s gorgeous landscape and rich culture. Our team will help in most stages of home construction, from digging footings, raising walls and roofing, to finishing interiors with flooring or cabinetry.
During your time off, you can experience traditional Hawaiian culture by touring the historic Hanapepe Town during their Friday night Art Walk, visiting the Kauai Coffee Visitors center, relaxing at a beautiful beach, hiking along the Maha‘ulepu trail, biking the Ke Ala Hele Makalae coastal bike path and much more.
Global Village sends volunteers to build with Habitat for Humanity projects across the world. Get your hands dirty on the work site, meet the families whose housing situation you are improving, experience the country like an insider, and do it all alongside a team of like-minded volunteers. No experience is required! This build is your next step with Habitat to make the world a better place.
Program donation and fundraising
You may fundraise or give the program donation. Fundraising is as easy as telling your friends, family and co-workers about why you build with Habitat for Humanity. They may even ask to join the team! We will set you up with a great website and coaching for success.
Volunteers are encouraged to set a fundraising goal over the minimum. Every donation you raise keeps Habitat building after your team returns home and helps us serve another family.

Have a question?
Your team leader, Kevin Bainbridge, would love to tell you more about the trip! Email Kevin at email@example.com.
Kevin’s favorite Global Village story: “One of my favorite memories is while on a project in Honduras, seeing the neighborhood children return from school and run to our work site to offer assistance and encouragement to us foreigners working alongside their parents to build a better future for the village. Seeing their smiling faces made it all worthwhile.”
