Volunteer in other ways

Asia-Pacific

There are opportunities to volunteer in non-building activities. We are looking for volunteers who want to apply their unique skills in program or resource development, research, communications, as well as other administrative roles. There are more than 1 billion people worldwide who are in need of safe, secure and affordable homes. To create lasting housing solutions, we need devoted and committed volunteers like you.

Leadership

Individuals who volunteer to take leadership roles in their local Habitat for Humanity office are especially vital to success of Habitat’s work. Such roles include serving formally on a national organization’s board of directors or as an advisor or connecting with potential donors or high-level government officials. Check with the national organization where you are located for opportunities.

Interns

Students can learn how Habitat for Humanity operates and gain valuable work experience by volunteering  at a Habitat office for a period of time.

Longer-term volunteers

Habitat for Humanity offers long-term opportunities in offices around the world. Find out more about our international volunteer program.

Youth engagement

Launched in 2012, Habitat for Humanity’s Young Leaders Build is the largest youth movement in the Asia-Pacific region. Young people are empowered to volunteer and participate in development and advocate for the need for adequate housing.
