Midwest and Southeastern tornadoes
Recent storms unleashed an estimated 77 tornadoes across 14 Midwestern and Southeastern states. Estimates from the Red Cross indicate that over 2,000 homes sustained damage in Indiana and Kentucky, two of the hardest hit states.
To help these communities with long-term recovery efforts, we are coordinating with other voluntary organizations and government stakeholders through Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster. Additionally, we are working with our local Habitat for Humanity groups in southern Indiana, Kentucky, and Ohio to improve their ability to help families affected by these recent storms.
Please donate to support Habitat’s long-term recovery efforts in these communities.
