Severe flooding and landslides caused by heavy monsoon rains in Uttarakhand state, northern India have killed hundreds of people and affected tens of thousands more as entire villages are underwater, with roads and bridges washed away.
Habitat for Humanity India needs your support to provide emergency shelter kits in the immediate relief stage, to rebuild homes as operations move in to the recovery phase, and to conduct disaster risk management training in local communities to mitigate the effects of future disasters.
