Win Warren Haynes Christmas Jam CDs! (Giveaway)

For many people, the holidays are a time for music. Warren Haynes is no different. But when the legendary songwriter and guitarist thinks of Christmas music, he thinks of uniting great musicians for a great cause.

Over the past 23 years, the annual Warren Haynes Christmas Jam has raised more than $1 million for Asheville Area Habitat for Humanity and continues to go strong. This year’s concert is scheduled for Dec. 15 with a lineup that includes The Blind Boys of Alabama, Sheryl Crow, The String Cheese Incident, Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue, and The Warren Haynes Band, with special guests Mike Barnes, Kevn Kinney and Anders Osborne.

We’re giving 10 lucky readers the chance to experience the “jams of Christmas past” in your own home. Just comment on this blog post and tell us: If you were organizing a benefit concert for Habitat, which musicians would you invite and what songs would you have them perform? We’ll select 10 answers at random to receive a set of four CDs from past Christmas Jams.

Entries will be accepted beginning at 12 a.m. on Oct. 15, 2012, until 11:59 p.m. EST Oct. 21, 2012. Winners will receive a four CD set, valued at $65. No purchase or donation is required to win. Only one entry per person. The odds of winning depend on the number of entries. Ten winners will be selected randomly and notified via email. Winners will have 14 days to respond. Unclaimed prizes will be awarded randomly to other entrants. Please allow 6-8 weeks for delivery. Must be over 18 years old to win. Contest is void where prohibited. Good luck!
