I was wondering if you all will help me. I'm a first time homeowner and I'm on a fixed income. I'm on disability and I need a roof on my house. My roof leaks in my kitchen and bedroom and also when it rains it leaks in my basement. Thank you.

I am a retired teacher. Over the last several years I have spent lots of time in Kenya. I was born and grew up in inner city neighborhoods in the US, but even so I was shocked at the living conditions of many of the Kenyan people. So over the years, on every trip I would make a donation or help someone fix a house up. I recently heard about Habitat for Humanity and the great work your organization is doing around the world. I was further impressed that this noble effort is being led by former President Jimmy Carter, who I feel was one of the best leaders the US has had. I will be leaving for Kenya next month and would like to know a person I can contact there to help you in this great humanitarian effort. Sincerely , Rasheed Salahuddin
