Job Description

Greater Des Moines Habitat for Humanity has immediate openings for two Neighborhood Revitalization AmeriCorps. 

Serve low-income families and improve Des Moines neighborhoods while building your resume and earning money to pay for college! AmeriCorps members serve for approximately one year and develop valuable leadership, communication, organizational and teamwork skills through supporting the safe construction and renovation of affordable, energy efficient homes by community volunteers.

This yearlong full-time position requires a valid driver’s license and a willingness to get your hands dirty as part of the GDM Habitat construction team. Previous construction experience is plus, but it is not a requirement.
