World Habitat Day
Global. October 1, 2012.
World Habitat Day raises awareness of the fact that adequate shelter is sorely lacking for so many around the world, and motivates us to take action in response. Recognition of World Habitat Day begins on the first Monday of October. On this day, Habitat for Humanity supporters around the globe will stand up together.

We will host a series of special activities that highlight the need for safe, decent and affordable shelter. We have prepared several resources available to any individual, church, organization, etc. that wishes to organize their own World Habitat Day event, or simply to show public support for the cause on this day.
