Every Habitat for Humanity project is an act of faith―a miracle brought to life by the hearts and hands of those who believe that families deserve a chance to have a simple, decent, affordable place to live.

Habitat’s foundational Christian principles drive this undeterrable conviction that poverty housing has no place on our planet.

With every house built, every family supported, Habitat seeks to demonstrate its faith—acting justly, loving mercy and walking humbly with God.

During September, as they have since 1995, many Habitat affiliates and national organizations celebrate Building on Faith week, one concentrated burst of the underlying belief that is always present on every Habitat build site.
