Denver Broncos quarterback Tim Tebow will help raise funds for Habitat for Humanity March 6.

Tebow will participate in a question-and-answer session at the Butte Civic Center.

“This is a real blessing for a town that needs it so much,” said Mike Nutter, president of the board of directors for Habitat for Humanity of Southwest Montana. “We want to thank Tim Tebow for his help raising awareness and funds for Habitat for Humanity.”

Proceeds from the event’s ticket sales will be split between Habitat for Humanity of Southwest Montana and Helena Area Habitat for Humanity. Event sponsors are hoping to raise enough funds to build a home for a family in need in the Butte community.

“Habitat for Humanity’s mission is built around a desire to demonstrate the love of Jesus Christ, and we are grateful that Tim has chosen to put his faith into action by helping a family in Montana realize their dreams,” said Jonathan Reckford, CEO of Habitat for Humanity International.

“Our ministry embraces a simple concept of providing a hand up versus a hand out to families in need, and we are deeply grateful to have Tim’s hands join those of local volunteers in this life-changing work.”

Event tickets can be purchased at www.butteciviccenter.com.
