Habitat for Humanity ReStores sell donated supplies, new and used, to raise money for the local Habitat affiliate. The community benefits by having access to affordable building and decorating supplies, some of which might otherwise have been thrown away.

Many Habitat for Humanity affiliates operate a ReStore, where donated materials can be sold at a discount to the community. The ReStore is mutually beneficial: It helps the affiliate by turning surplus supplies into much-needed funds, it recycles quality items and it helps families buy affordable materials to maintain their own homes.
