Job Description
The International Programs Intern serves as a key support for Habitat for Humanity International’s (HFHI) Tiered Service Model (TSM) work stream as a part of its 2014-18 strategic plan. The Tiered Service Model work stream is focused on assessing Habitat’s service model for national organizations and branches in over 70+ countries. The goal is develop a tiered service model to better service our customer base while maximizing our resources and focusing on our risk management. This position reports to the Senior Director of International Programs, but also works closely with other HFHI staff members, departments, area offices, and national organizations, as required.

Qualifications
- Must be at least a third year undergraduate student or a graduate student.
- Must be well-organized, detailed oriented, and able to work well both independently and in a team environment.
- Excellent time management and communication (written & verbal) skills
- Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook). MS Excel will be used on a regular basis
- Ability to interface with all levels of the organization (both internal and external)
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment and respond quickly to changing conditions
- Interest and commitment to community service and nonprofits is essential.
