Manager, National Service Program

Job Description

Habitat for Humanity is currently in search of a Manager to assist our National Service Programs.

As part of the National Service Programs team, the manager will be responsible for performing the following duties:

• Implementing integrated HFHI National Service programs at host site level; supervises team of 3 program specialists with collective responsibility to provide support, development and accountability to approximately 50 sites and 155 members
• Collaborating with other Program Senior Specialists and NSM's, as well as with the Compliance Team
• Implementing and maintaining program reporting and files according to defined process; includes but is not limited to member, host site and program files, collection and reporting of appropriate programmatic and financial data
• Providing support to the overall department through engagement with the NS Leadership Team; includes other tasks as deemed necessary by NSLT
• Engaging in special initiatives, ad hoc committees, and signature events through direct participation and leadership roles
• Managing an annual budget of approximately $30,000 tracking expenses and match and ensuring compliance expectations are met

Job Requirements

·          Bachelor's Degree

·          1-2 years related experience

·          Volunteer management or AmeriCorps service experience preferred

·          Good written and verbal communication skills

·          Financial and programmatic management skills

·          Strong organization skills

·         Ability to travel
