MS, Jackson - Construction Supervisor

Job Description

Reports to: Director of construction

The construction supervisor oversees all aspects of the on-site house construction for Habitat for Humanity/Metro Jackson building, including supervising and instructing volunteers in construction tasks and maintaining a safe and productive environment. The construction supervisor is also responsible for quality control throughout the build process and the efficient use of materials.

Qualifications:  

  • Experience in residential construction.
  • Must be able to work with large groups of volunteers by instructing, supervising and directing multiple construction tasks through all phases of house construction.  
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Work week is primarily Tuesday – Saturday. Weekday tasks may involve all phases of residential construction and preparing sites for the Saturday activities with volunteers.
