Job Description

Habitat for Humanity International (HFHI) is seeking a dedicated professional for the role of Purchasing and Corporate Travel Manager.  Reporting to the Director of Financial Planning & Analysis, this position will play a key role in ensuring the effective and efficient administration and implementation of the organization's purchasing and travel systems and processess.  This position will be based at HFHI's Administrative Headquarters in Atlanta, Georgia.

Key Objectives:

-Responsible for the operation of the organizational purchasing and corporate travel function. 
-Identify opportunities where contract negotiations and operational experience will reduce costs and increase efficiency. 
-Create RFP's, research products, recommend vendors and solutions and implement approved solutions.  
-Manage the relationship with the corporate travel vendor and manage the online expense reimbursement system.

Job Requirements

-Proven experience in finding solutions to organizational purchasing and travel needs.
-Proven ability to create, implement and monitor standard processes, creativity in identifying needs and solutions, strong negotiating skills and proven ability to identify and implement cost effective and efficient processes.
-Ability to work independently and lead teams through a decision making process.
-Strong written, presentation, and verbal skills required.
-Ability to read and analyze and modify contracts when negotiating – providing favorable business terms.
-Ideal candidate will have strong project management skills.
-Bachelor’s degree required.
-5 to 7+ years related work experience.
-Strong business travel planning/management experience preferred.
