Job Description
The US Donor Engagement Projects Manager serves as a key resource to the Sr. Director, US Engagement and divisional colleagues. The Projects Manager also acts as a liaison between Resource Development and the US Operations team on key initiatives of the US Office and the associated restricted funding priorities. The US Engagement Projects Manager ensures implementation of strategy to meet and exceed assigned team revenue goals and deliver superior service to all partners (internal/external) within their assigned portfolio. The Project Manager will work across multiple donor segments including corporate, individual giving, foundation or others and may represent Resource Development division colleagues during the design, planning, implementation, monitoring and reporting of key initiatives.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
* Assist in the development and implementation of key initiatives of the US Office with associated restricted funding priorities
* Manage the day-to-day ongoing operational aspects of assigned initiatives or partnerships
* Work with Resource Development colleagues, Communications and Program staff to develop strategic solicitation plans and event funding strategies to meet assigned goals
* Support the cultivation, solicitation, engagement and management of funders and donors including corporate, individual giving, foundation or others
* Assist with event planning and implementation of donor engagement and recognition strategies ensuring the highest level of excellence
* Oversees and updates donor interactions and opportunities and manages the creation of various reporting required including preparation of progress reports for senior management and IBoD
* Facilitates decision making and assists in managing the interaction with other HFHI departments (e.g. Finance, Field Operations, Marketing/PR/ Special Events) and Habitat US Affiliates
* Creates new partner proposals and implementation plans to meet the needs of the overall partnership strategy as defined by the Sr Director US Engagement as well as the functional departments and senior management at the partner company
* Supports activities of the Senior Director, US Engagement and the US Engagement unit including administrative and logistical support duties
Job Requirements
* Bachelors Degree
* Minimum of 3 years of experience in fundraising and/or major customer/donor suppport
* Demonstrated ability in project management skills
* Demonstrated ability to mange complex tasks involving multiple stakeholders
* Customer service orientation and experience
* Excellent time-management, communication, and organization skills
* Ability to interface with all levels of an organization (both internal and external)
* Superior analytical and organizational skills with excellent attention to detail and high degree of personal initiative
* Demonstrated computer skills proficiency with Microsoft Office programs
