Job Description
Habitat for Humanity International (HFHI) has an exciting opportunity in its visual communications department for a Video Production Volunteer. This volunteer service opportunity with HFHI presents the ability to learn valuable creative and technical skills from professional staff videographers and editors! You’ll get the chance to work with professional digital equipment and professional software such as Adobe Creative Cloud, Final Cut Pro and AfterEffects. Along with the chance to work with professional materials, you’ll also gain working knowledge of non-profit communications, as well as hands-on experience photographing Habitat build sites, projects and events! This is a great chance to get involved with non-profit work, as well as give you exceptional video opportunities, allowing you to add unique experience to your portfolio.
Responsibilities include:
* Assist with field and studio video shoots
* Organize footage
* Edit, archive and distribute video projects
* Provide administrative support as needed
Job Requirements
The ideal volunteer should:
*Be passionate about video storytelling
*Have a desire to gain experience in the non-profit video production environment
*Have experience with basic digital photography and post-production work
*Possess a great attitude and work ethic
*Be able to serve for 20+ hours per week on location in Atlanta, Georgia
