Job Description
Habitat for Humanity International (HFHI) is seeking an experienced individual to serve in Vietnam as a Volunteer Marketing Officer. This is anticipated to be a 4-6 month volunteer opportunity, based in Ho Chi Minh City. ANTICIPATED COSTS TO THE VOLUNTEER: Monthly estimate for a single individual is given below. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
*Serve alongside our Resource Development/Fundraising team in developing marketing strategies for our fundraising efforts.
*Develop marketing approaches to align Habitat for Humanity Vietnam’s project activity with funding priorities. *Understand Habitat for Humanity Vietnam’s current and future project activities.
*Understand basic funding priorities of potential partners or other funding sources.
*Work with Habitat for Humanity Vietnam’s team to develop comprehensive and strategic proposals and marketing materials.
*Develop sample logframes and concept notes/papers.
*Other marketing related assignments as the arise.

Job Requirements
*Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in marketing, communications or related field.
*Master’s degree preferred.
*3-5 years marketing experience preferably in relation to non-profit organizations/fundraising.
*Excellent organizational and administrative skills
*Must be computer literate.
*Fluency in English required.
*Fluency in Vietnamese preferred.
*Excellent oral and written communication skills.
*Ability to work and live in cross-cultural setting.
*All IVP volunteers must confirm the purchase of international insurance coverage for the duration of their stays.
