Simpson Strong-Tie renews partnership with Habitat for Humanity for the 11th consecutive year
ATLANTA (Feb. 21, 2017) – Simpson Strong-Tie is renewing its partnership with Habitat for Humanity for the 11th consecutive year to help more families in need of a decent and affordable place to call home. To date, the manufacturer of structural product solutions has contributed $2.5 million toward Habitat’s mission.
“We are excited to renew the Simpson Strong-Tie partnership for the 11th year,” said Lynda Smith, senior director of corporate relations for Habitat for Humanity International. “Through this partnership, we are able to support our mission and continue to build Habitat homes alongside homeowners.”
The company will donate structural framing hardware and reinforced shear walls for new construction and will continue to support Habitat Strong, a program that backs building disaster-resilient homes in weather-sensitive areas.

In addition to product donations and funding, Simpson Strong-Tie employees will participate in Habitat for Humanity’s Jimmy & Rosalynn Carter Work Project in 2017.
