Dates to note
- Open now: Winter Break 2009–2010 and Spring Break 2010 registration.
- November 29, 2009: Collegiate Challenge Winter Break 2009–2010 begins.
- November 30, 2009: Summer Break 2010 registration begins.
- February 14, 2010: Collegiate Challenge Spring Break 2010 begins.
- April 11, 2010: Collegiate Challenge Summer Break 2010 begins.
Before you register
Prior to registering for your Collegiate Challenge trip, there are a few things you need to do:
- Read What You Need to Know and become familiar with the program’s requirements.
- Choose a team leader. The team leader will be your group’s contact for the Collegiate Challenge team and the host affiliate. If you are sending multiple teams, please choose one person to be the contact person for all of the teams.
- Choose your destination. Check the site lists to see which host affiliates are available. Be sure to pick backup destinations in case your top choices have already been filled by the time you register.
When choosing a location, please consider: distance from home (Travel costs vary with distance.); number of people that can be hosted; and amount of affiliate contribution. Also take note of any special requirements that a site may list, such as college or university groups only; faculty member requirements; age restrictions and teacher/student ratio requirements.
