Sebring is home to the historic 12 Hours of Sebring endurance race and was featured on Season 3 of HGTV, highlighting its charm and vibrant local culture.During your Collegiate Challenge week, students will contribute directly to building safe, affordable housing for families in need. All Collegiate Challenge participants will stay at Camp Wingmann in Avon Park, Florida. Camp Wingmann offers comfortable dorm‑style lodging, spacious grounds, and a peaceful lakeside setting—perfect for team bonding after a day on the build site.To support construction materials, supervision, and volunteer coordination, we request a $200 donation per participant. Join Habitat for Humanity of the St. Vrain Valley for a week of building on one of our construction sites. No construction experience is necessary! Working alongside our construction supervisors, core volunteers, and future homeowners you have the opportunity to learn new skills while building homes, community, and hope in the St. Vrain Valley. A typical construction day goes from 9am to 4pm with an hour break for lunch. We provide housing for out-of-town teams for $175 per person per week. Our Volunteer Hospitality Center can accommodate up to 16 volunteers. Marion-Dillon County Habitat for Humanity is located in Mullins, SC, which is approximately 50 miles from scenic Myrtle Beach, SC. Our affiliate has been hosting college groups during their Fall and Spring Breaks since 1997. This means we have a lot of experience in hosting students groups with our southern hospitality! Through Collegiate Challenge, your student group can travel to Marion and Dillon Counties to work alongside other Habitat volunteers, community members, and of course the homeowner family during our home construction projects. No previous construction experience is required--just a willingness to work hard, learn, and serve.Students will not only help build homes, but also friendships, leadership skills, and life-long memories while making a meaningful impact in our community. HOUSING PROVIDED. Come spend some time in beautiful Chatham County, North Carolina! Wander our miles of hiking trails, relax at Jordan Lake or take part in one of our quirky town events. Pittsboro has a diverse and accomplished artistic community, so there are plenty of small shops and independent galleries to explore- and the locals are the nicest folks you’ll ever meet! We’re a string of sleepy farm towns that have seen massive growth in the recent years, now we need your help to build stable, affordable homes for the people who have lived and worked here for generations. We will provide lunches on workdays and a big banquet-style dinner at the end of the week, but groups are responsible for other meals. Cape Fear Habitat for Humanity is based out of beautiful Wilmington, North Carolina. Our affiliate serves New Hanover, Pender, and Duplin counties stretching from the beautiful coast to peaceful farmlands. Since our organization was founded in 1987, we have served over 400 local families. We are currently working in our new Haven Place neighborhood, a 35 home development 15 minutes outside of downtown Wilmington. The location for the Collegiate Challenge build for 2027 has not been determined.Groups are responsible for finding their own housing accommodations, but we can offer a few contacts that may be able to help with housing depending on your group size. Lunch and snacks will be provided on site each workday (Monday - Friday).

Come volunteer with Habitat Broward in sunny South Florida!Fort Lauderdale is among USA’s most cost-burden areas and we strive to provide housing to as many of our neighbors as possible. Collegiate Challenge students help us build more to serve more families through construction activities Tuesday-Friday from 8am-1pm on the build sites alongside skilled leaders, future homeowners, and our staff. We partner with a State Park on beautiful Fort Lauderdale beach to provide housing. There are a main lodge and six air-conditioned sleeping cabins within the park with direct access to the beach. Student groups may find their own accommodation, please email us for details on rates for that option. Lunch, snacks and drinks are provided every day that you are volunteering on the job sites. We also provide one dinner during the week with our regular volunteers and future homeowners. Visit the beautiful Pacific Northwest and spend a week building with Tacoma/Pierce County Habitat for Humanity, with the possibility of also spending a couple days with one of our neighboring affiliates - Habitat for Humanity South Puget Sound (Olympia) or Habitat for Humanity of Kitsap County (Bremerton). No construction experience is necessary! Working alongside our construction supervisors, core volunteers, and future homeowners you have the opportunity to learn new skills while building homes, community, and hope in the St. Vrain Valley. A typical construction day goes from 9am to 4pm with an hour break for lunch. We provide housing for out-of-town teams for $175 per person per week. Join Habitat for Humanity Spokane for a hands-on Collegiate Challenge experience where you’ll build more than a house, you’ll help build a stronger community!Volunteers will work together at Lee Wade Landing in Spokane Valley, our current construction site. Once complete, this development will provide 25 affordable homes for families in Spokane County.
