Mrs. Ching’Andu is currently overseeing the monitoring and evaluation of the MasterCard funded project “Building Assets, Unlocking Access.” She has experience as a research associate and data quality auditor for Khulisa Management Services, a consulting firm, where she focused on strengthening monitoring and evaluation systems for implementers of public health programmes in South Africa and other African countries. She holds a bachelor’s degree in demography from the University of Zambia and a master’s degree in public health from Witwatersrand University.

Experience:

Mr. Mukwana is a consultant with over 20 years of experience in microfinance and banking. He is a MicroSave certified service provider of market research, corporate branding, consumer service, product marketing and strategic marketing. He has specialized and built  experience in training and conducting market research for microfinance programs in Africa and Asia leading to new product development and refinement. He holds the following qualifications: a diploma in accountancy from Nkumba College of Commerce, a B.A. in economics from Makerere University, a diploma in project planning and management from the Uganda Management Institute, and microfinance training from the Boulder School of Microfinance.

Noluthando Ntshanga

Experience:
Ms. Ntshanga is responsible for supporting and assisting in the design, development, promotion and institutional technical assistance of all microfinance partnerships in the region, working with consultants to undertake research, product development and training. She has experience as a researcher and assistant lecturer at the University of KwaZulu Natal, and also as a junior project manager responsible for the delivery of low-cost housing in various towns of KwaZulu Natal. Her expertise includes knowledge of housing theory and policies, various housing finance instruments and project management. She holds a bechelor’s degree and master’s degree in housing from the University of KwaZulu Natal.

Mrs. Odera oversees and manages the MasterCard funded project “Building Assets, Unlocking Access.” Ruth Odera has more than 20 years’ experience in private sector development, programme management, training and microfinance consulting. Prior to joining Habitat for Humanity International, she managed Microfinance House Ltd, a privately owned microfinance consulting firm. Mrs Odera has a strong educational background and holds a master’s degree in business and administration from the University of Nairobi, a master’s degree in microfinance from Giordano Del Amore Foundation Italy and a bachelor’s degree in education from Kenyatta University.
 
 
Stephen Wanjala

Experience:
Mr. Wanjala oversees the design and implementation of innovative projects in shelter finance in the Europe, Middle East and Africa region, leading initiatives to promote action research in housing finance programs and stimulating investment in the African housing finance sector. He is a microfinance specialist with more than 19 years of experience in microfinance and housing finance operations management, training and business development services. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the Kenya Methodist University, a cooperative audit, management and banking diploma and certified public accountant part 1 from the Cooperative College of Kenya. He is currently pursuing a master’s degree in development finance from the University of Stellenbosch, South Africa.
