The Millennium Development Goals expire in less than three years. Some of these targets will be met, but many will not.

With more people living in cities and slums continuing to swell, adequate housing must be preserved in the next MDGs.

Habitat is ensuring stakeholders understand the demographics of those living in poverty have changed and the need for a safe, decent, affordable place to live is continuing to grow.
