July 1994 Eagle Butte, S.D.
This JCWP marked the partnership of Habitat for Humanity and the Native American population. Thirty houses were completed on the Cheyenne River Indian Reservation. |

June 1995 Southern California
More than 1,500 volunteers from 39 states and five countries participated in this JCWP. Twenty-one houses were built in the Watts/Willowbrook community of Los Angeles, while accelerated builds were held at five other Habitat affiliates in southern California.

August 1996 Vac, Hungary
Ten houses were built by the Carters and about 500 other volunteers from 23 countries. This was the first time that a JCWP week was held in Europe. |
