Through their "Come Together Tour" Third Day raised more than $228,000 for Habitat for Humanity International. Third Day members have also participated in several home builds with Habitat while out on the road, including participating in last year's JCWP in Durban, South Africa. With the money raised, Third Day is sponsoring eight Habitat houses throughout the world. In addition, they are co-sponsoring and helping build a house as part of JCWP 2003.

"Habitat for Humanity continues to enjoy a tremendous partnership with Third Day," says Kevin Campbell, director of Headquarters Programs for Habitat for Humanity International. "During the fall 'Come Together Tour,' we were able to reach out directly to youth pastors at all the shows, sharing what Habitat for Humanity is about in their own communities. Third Day was very gracious with their time, appearing and speaking at these youth pastor events during intermission and spending some time in the communities helping to build. Third Day's desire to see their fans come together in Christian service is inspiring. We are proud that they see Habitat for Humanity as a way to make that happen."

Third Day continues to work closely with Habitat for Humanity, "Our partnership with Habitat for Humanity has been so important and encouraging for all of us," says Third Day's Tai Anderson. "We could never have raised the money we did without the audiences who came out to see these shows and to support this cause. It's really these fans who have built these homes, and we are so appreciative of them. They have played an important role in changing the lives of the families around the world."
