2011 Jimmy & Rosalynn Carter Work Project Sponsors

Thank you to our sponsors, whose generous support contributed to the overall success of the event.

Gold Sponsor
Delta Air Lines

For more than 20 years, Delta Air Lines has supported Habitat for Humanity’s mission to ensure everyone in the world has a decent place to call home. Since becoming a national partner in 2006, Delta has supported Habitat’s mission in creative ways, unveiling the first 767-300 featuring a unique Habitat for Humanity livery and a Delta “Force for Global Good” decal, and hosting online auctions in which SkyMiles® members bid their miles to join Delta on international “voluntourism” trips. Delta has also given nearly $4 million in build funding and travel benefits to Habitat for Humanity; Delta customers have donated $600,000 in SkyMiles®; and Delta employees have traveled hundreds of thousands of miles and have volunteered thousands of hours in service to Habitat in the past decade alone.

This year, Delta has committed to transporting volunteers to Habitat’s 2011 Jimmy & Rosalynn Carter Work Project in Léogâne, Haiti, in addition to sending 10 members of Delta’s Force for Global Good to help Habitat create affordable housing in partnership with families rebuilding from the 2010 earthquake.
