Kinha and his father lost their home due to the floods in Brazil. Amid this difficult situation, his father became ill and had to have his leg amputated. This story of resilience is one of Habitat for Humanity’s 16 Voices and shows how our program creates life-changing impact for people with disabilities.

Bianca is the youngest of our 16 Voices. After years of living in rented homes, she now has a place to call her own at just thirteen years old, thanks to a project that enabled her father to access affordable financing. Her story comes to us from Paraguay as we celebrate our fiftieth anniversary.
