Through the 100,000 Floors to Play On initiative, Myriam has improved her children’s living conditions. Now, they can play and have fun on a concrete floor. Her story is one of the 16 Voices celebrating our 50th anniversary.

Carolina has dedicated more than ten years of her life to volunteering. Through the partnership between Habitat for Humanity Mexico and Fundación Banorte, she has joined us in building homes for families and developing community solutions. Kinha and his father lost their home due to the floods in Brazil. Amid this difficult situation, his father became ill and had to have his leg amputated. This story of resilience is one of Habitat for Humanity’s 16 Voices and shows how our program creates life-changing impact for people with disabilities.

Bianca is the youngest of our 16 Voices. After years of living in rented homes, she now has a place to call her own at just thirteen years old, thanks to a project that enabled her father to access affordable financing. Her story comes to us from Paraguay as we celebrate our fiftieth anniversary.

Our work in Peru is carried out through partners such as EPEI Peru, represented in 16 Voices through Orlando’s story. This organization has become a strategic partner in promoting the use of quality electrical products.

After their home was destroyed by Hurricanes Eta and Iota, Manuel and his daughter moved through several temporary shelters until, with the support of Habitat for Humanity, they were able to access safe and decent housing. His story joins 16 other voices commemorating our 50th anniversary.
