About Home Equals
In the Asia-Pacific region, millions live in informal settlements where inadequate housing intersects with poor health, limited education, and economic exclusion. Habitat for Humanity seeks to address this housing gap by:
- influencing housing systems and policies to ensure equitable access to adequate housing for all through our Home Equals campaign;
- improving the performance of housing markets to include the needs of families with low income; and
- improving housing conditions through new construction and repairs.
By working together to support families to improve their homes gradually based on their needs and available resources, Habitat for Humanity and our partners commit to scalable, resilient, and inclusive housing solutions.
