Up to 10 young people or youth organizations in Asia-Pacific can each win US$4,000 to start, scale up, or replicate appropriate projects to improve housing conditions in their communities.

The winners were announced at the Habitat Youth Assembly in Cebu in June 2025 that convened over 50 young people from eight Asia-Pacific countries.

The campaign drives awareness of global housing need, particularly urgent in the Asia-Pacific region where access to adequate housing provides safety, stability, basic services and increasing resilience.

Warren Jack served for over 30 years with Habitat for Humanity in New Zealand. The huge impact on the families served is being passed on inter-generationally, he said.

“I felt a sense of achievement, working with other volunteers,” said Glenna, a student who has repeatedly volunteered with her schoolmates to help the elderly declutter and clean their home in Singapore.
