Come join us in the heart of Port Townsend, Washington, where HFH volunteers and future homeowners are building 14 paired homes that will create a thriving new neighborhood right in town! As a CAV, you’ll be working on homes in a variety of stages. Another option is helping in the Habitat Store. Port Townsend is a hidden gem of the Pacific Northwest. It’s an artsy, welcoming Victorian seaport perched on the tip of the Olympic Peninsula. Outdoor lovers can hike the trails of Fort Worden State Park, watch the sunset over the Olympic Mountains, or take a ferry ride across Puget Sound. About a week before the build begins, I’ll send a comprehensive welcome email with everything you’ll need to know for your stay in Port Townsend. That message will include details about the build site location, scheduled, parking information, and what to expect on the job site, plus introductions to our local Habitat team.. Come for the build, stay for the beauty, and help make home possible in Port Townsend! |
