Build with Purpose. Experience the Gulf South.  Join East St. Tammany Habitat for Humanity in Slidell, Louisiana, for a meaningful fall or spring break experience. Your team will work on an active home construction site, gain hands on skills, and help local families move closer to affordable homeownership. No experience is needed. We provide instruction, tools, workday lunches, a Collegiate Challenge T shirt, and a final day dinner.  The $175 participation fee supports construction materials, meals and volunteer coordination. We do not provide housing, but we can connect your group with local lodging resources.  Experience the Gulf South during your free time with New Orleans and the Mississippi Gulf Coast nearby. Mardi Gras season begins in January, and Louisiana’s spring festival season begins in April. No matter when you visit, you will find plenty of food, music, history, culture, outdoor activities, and coastal attractions to enjoy.  Email Kriston Toney, [email protected] for inquiries or to book directly.
