Home at What Cost?

Hear from people around the world

Behind every statistic is a person.

At the heart of Home at What Cost? are people’s lived experiences with housing, including their dreams, priorities and sacrifices in pursuit of a place to call home. Anonymous quotes from survey respondents appear throughout the report. Separately, we interviewed people in six countries to share more in-depth stories about their housing experiences. These individuals did not participate in the survey.
