Habitat for Humanity International is pleased to announce that Pamela Hughes Patenaude, former deputy secretary of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, has agreed to join to its board of directors.
Green Home Solutions is partnering with Habitat for Humanity in 2019 to provide services to improve the indoor air quality of homes being repaired or rehabilitated by Habitat.
Drawing on 25 years of leadership in nongovernmental organizations and the private sector, Canagasingham will assume operational responsibility for Habitat in March 2020.
Habitat for Humanity teams are assessing homes damaged by Hurricane Helene as the organization prepares its response, with a focus on aiding the long-term recovery of housing impacted by the massive storm system that has killed more than 60 people in the U.S. Southeast.

To celebrate the 10th anniversary of Global Village volunteer trips being offered by Habitat Canada, 15 volunteer teams have fanned out across the globe to build homes and hope for families worldwide.
