J.M. Huber Corporation, a global supplier of engineered materials solutions, consumer and industrial products, announced today that it will donate $500,000 to Habitat for Humanity International to support multiple projects in 2023 and 2024.
Habitat will work with communities, governments and partners around the world to fulfill the commitment made at the CGI 2023 Meeting that commenced today in New York by seeking policy changes at the local, national and global levels.
On Sunday, the nation joined former President Jimmy Carter in celebrating his 99th birthday, and today a record number of volunteers are honoring him in a way he understands well — by getting to work.
The news was shared with a ceremonial passing of the hammer between Habitat for Humanity of the Charlotte Region and Twin Cities Habitat during the closing ceremony of this year’s weeklong blitz build in Charlotte.

We pray that they continue to experience the blessings of time with their family and with each other, and they draw comfort from knowing people around the world are sending them prayers, love and support.”
Habitat for Humanity is deeply saddened by the passing of former U.S. first lady Rosalynn Carter, who was a champion and strong voice for affordable, decent housing for all.
