Habitat partner: Ford

Our work

Our collaboration builds on a relationship that began in 2005, partnering with Habitat affiliates and local families to build the strength and stability needed to create more resilient communities.

Through this partnership, Ford advances community resilience—supporting Habitat’s efforts to build, renovate, and repair homes; prepare for natural disasters; and engage volunteers nationwide through initiatives like Habitat Strong, Habitat ReStore tool drives, and national employee volunteerism.

Together, we’re building thriving communities that are more than homes. We’re creating pathways that help people move forward – into stability, opportunity and brighter futures.

Chicago

May 30-31

In 2026, Habitat is popping up in nine cities with an art installation of 10 doors, featuring work from local artists and real homeowner stories.

Ford will be a featured partner in Chicago, with their own door, representing what’s possible with the foundation of a safe and decent home.

Together, Ford and Habitat are working alongside families as they build stronger, more resilient communities.
