Church Partnerships

Europe, Middle East and Africa

Habitat for Humanity is a nondenominational Christian housing organization. Habitat’s belief is that all people should have a safe, decent place to live. It invites people of all faiths to join our mission to build and renovate simple, decent, affordable houses.

Habitat provides a means to build community and fellowship within your church, and gives you the opportunity to show God’s love in action. Here is how you and your congregation can get involved.

Take a mission trip

Habitat volunteering trips through the Global Village program are a hands-on opportunity to work with God’s people in need. When you take a volunteer trip with Habitat, you not only build homes for families in need but you build strength and unity within your congregation as you work towards the common goal of helping others. Trips typically take 1-2 weeks and include home building, discovering the local culture as well as time for prayer and reflection.

Create your own team

Choosing from more than 40 countries worldwide, you can design your own trip at the time that best suits your congregation. Read our guidelines on how to create your own Global Village team to build houses and hope in another country or community.

Donate to Habitat for Humanity

  • Raise funds to build all or part of a house. A congregation may sponsor a house individually or join with another congregation to raise the money and build a house together.
  • Make an online donation to Habitat for Humanity for building a world where everyone has a decent place to live.
