Interior Define’s “Give Comfort” campaign supports Habitat for Humanity and helps build more safe, affordable homes in the U.S.

CHICAGO (Jan. 23, 2018) – Digitally native sofa company Interior Define announced today it will donate $100,000 through its Give Comfort campaign to Habitat for Humanity to help build strength, stability and self-reliance through shelter. In addition, the Interior Define team has committed to volunteer their time at Habitat build sites in Interior Define’s Guideshop markets nationally, alongside future Habitat homeowners. The first will take place at Habitat for Humanity Chicago’s 16-home project in West Pullman.

“Interior Define and Habitat for Humanity are natural partners given our shared focus to help families build a comfortable home,” said Interior Define founder and CEO, Rob Royer. “With so many families displaced by natural disasters in 2017 alone, we wanted to help those impacted with our support and hands-on volunteering.”

The Give Comfort campaign kicked off on December 1, 2017 with a 5 percent discount applied to all purchases at Interior Define. The company then matched that 5 percent in donations to Habitat during the month of December. Interior Define plans to reinstate the campaign during the 2018 holiday season.

About Habitat for Humanity

Driven by the vision that everyone needs a decent place to live, Habitat for Humanity began in 1976 as a grassroots effort on a community farm in southern Georgia. The Christian housing organization has since grown to become a leading global nonprofit working in more than 1,300 communities throughout the U.S. and in more than 70 countries. Families and individuals in need of a hand up partner with Habitat for Humanity to build or improve a place they can call home. Habitat homeowners help build their own homes alongside volunteers and pay an affordable mortgage. Through financial support, volunteering or adding a voice to support affordable housing, everyone can help families achieve the strength, stability and self-reliance they need to build better lives for themselves. Through shelter, we empower. To learn more, visit habitat.org.
