Compass partners with Habitat for Humanity to support safe and affordable housing
ATLANTA (Dec. 13, 2021) — Compass, Inc., a U.S. based technology-enabled residential real estate brokerage, has joined Habitat for Humanity International as a new partner and committed a donation of $200,000 to support the global housing organization’s mission of building safe, decent and affordable homes.
“Similar to Compass’ mission to help everyone find their place in the world, Habitat for Humanity is dedicated to building a world where everyone has a place to call home,” said Helene Weissburg, head of Compass’ philanthropic organization, Compass Cares. “I couldn’t be more excited to help build homes in our communities nationwide alongside our agents and employees.”
Compass Cares, launched in 2019, empowers agents and employees alike to support meaningful causes right where it counts most: at home. Through Compass Cares, 100% of Compass transactions lead to a donation back to its local Compass Cares Community Funds nationwide. Compass’ donation to Habitat for Humanity will help fund affordable home construction in various Compass markets across the nation. Compass agents and employees will also have the opportunity to volunteer with Habitat for Humanity on home construction and repair projects in their local communities throughout 2022.
