Carter Work Project 2025 house photos

The 39th annual Jimmy & Rosalynn Carter Work Project took place Oct. 26–31, 2025, led by Austin Habitat for Humanity. Hundreds of volunteers came together to build 25 affordable, energy-efficient homes in Whisper Valley, a sustainable community in East Austin.

    Carter Work Project 2026

    In 2026, for the first time since 1988, the Jimmy & Rosalynn Carter Work Project will return to Atlanta. Atlanta Habitat for Humanity will bring volunteers, partners and affordable housing advocates together May 3–8 to build 24 new single-family homes and townhomes.
