Pop-up doors in Atlanta

Everyone deserves a decent place to call home. For 50 years, Habitat has been turning that mission into reality by helping millions of people around the world build, improve or finance their homes.

Today, we’re building on that momentum.

We’re popping up in 10 cities worldwide with an art installation of 10 doors, each featuring work from local artists and real homeowner stories.

Together, they represent what’s possible with a safe, decent foundation.

Building on our momentum.

Through hands-on builds, pop-up exhibits, compelling new research and powerful storytelling, we’re bringing housing to the center stage at a global scale. Learn more.

Broly Su is an Atlanta-based art director, graphic designer & illustrator. Originally from Changsha, China, Broly’s creative journey was shaped by a deep love for hip-hop, graffiti, sneakers, collectible toys, anime, caudex plants, and tattoo culture. This is a teaser image of his door artwork.

Graphic living room scene. Blue slide sandals, brown and green rug, person sitting criss-cross with green pants and yellow sweater and red headphones using a record players. A coffee table with an action figure, incense vase and piece of cake. To the right there is another person with spikey black hair, a red sweater and blue pants, looking through a box of records.

“My Favorite Habitat.” As the title suggests, the first thing that came to mind when I received this commission was how to visually represent the environment where I feel most comfortable and secure. As a fully remote creative, my home studio plays an essential role in my daily life. Over the years, I’ve been intentional about shaping an indoor space that allows me to feel grounded, relaxed and inspired.

I often find myself watching YouTubers share their “inner spaces,” reflecting on how personal environments can become extensions of identity. For me, comfort isn’t about size. I value making the most of a limited space — transforming it into something that reflects my style, attitude and creative spirit.

In this piece, the room is filled with elements that genuinely belong to me: lush green plants, collectible toys, vinyl records, and various decorative objects carefully placed throughout the composition. I wanted every corner to feel alive and intentional, almost like a visual diary of the things I’ve consistently loved and collected over time.

The artwork closely mirrors my real-life space. Now with more than 20 plants surrounding me, I truly enjoy the feeling of simply chilling in my own private habitat where creativity, comfort and personality coexist.
