Habitat is seeking to raise $100 million to support the repair, rebuilding and new construction of homes to assist low- and moderate-income families in Texas, Florida and Puerto Rico.
Global branded payments provider Blackhawk Network announced today that it has raised $1 million for Habitat for Humanity International through the sales of its Giving Good gift cards.
The foundation will provide funding for Habitat’s long-term disaster recovery work, as well as support several local Habitat organizations’ efforts to help families affected by the housing crisis that has been exacerbated by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Nissan has been a valuable partner to Habitat for more than 18 years and is renewing its commitment with an $800,000 donation.
Habitat’s campaign is continuing to fundraise throughout April and raise awareness of the growing need for affordable housing across the U.S.
