Our Homes, Communities, Hope + You campaign was a network-wide fundraising initiative in response to the COVID-19 pandemic to support Habitat’s work in communities across the U.S. and around the world.

Habitat for Humanity Northern Arizona is building 500-square foot starter homes to bring more affordable housing options to Flagstaff, Arizona. An affordable down payment and an equity savings program are just two of the many features that make the affiliate’s starter home model so transformative.

Each year since 2007, lumber milled from the Rockefeller Center Christmas tree has been used to help a family build their Habitat house.

Now that they’ve built their “forever home” with Habitat, Cynthia and Valdemar are focused on building a safe, loving community where their sons can have a bright future.

On June 12, Habitat for Humanity will launch our first national advocacy campaign to mobilize local Habitat organizations, partners, volunteers and community members across the country to find solutions and help create policies that will allow 10 million individuals to have access to affordable homes.
