Simpson Strong-Tie has committed $450,000 to Habitat for Humanity to help build safe and affordable homes. Funding will also support the housing organization’s Habitat Strong program, which uses building methods to improve durability, resiliency and strength to uphold against severe climate conditions.
Habitat for Humanity International today announces the next phase of its groundbreaking MicroBuild initiative, which has already helped mobilize US$1.22 billion for affordable housing finance and directly supported over 236,000 families to build or improve the place they call home.
