Habitat for Humanity is all about people. People in hard hats, people who live in affordable houses, people who spend their hours and days working together because they share a vision of a world where everyone has a decent place to live.
Executive director of Habitat of Kerr County Karen Quanstrom found herself on the phone with homeowner Laci Kocurek, who called to ask about deeding her house back.
Maintaining the funding of the Self-help Homeownership Opportunity Program and the Section 4 capacity building program with proven outcomes will allow Habitat to continue supporting more than 1,400 affiliates nationwide to better meet the affordable housing needs in their communities.
