Our Habitat network

Habitat in your local community and around the world

Partnership is at the heart of everything we do. It’s the groundwork on which we were founded nearly 50 years ago. Through powerful partnerships, we have helped build and improve homes alongside millions of people.

Habitat for Humanity is a unified global network with more than 900 offices in the U.S. and operations in 60 countries. Local Habitat offices bring the mission to life, tailoring the work to meet their community’s needs.

Get involved with your local Habitat

Working collaboratively alongside our local partners, Habitat is able to serve more people, strengthen communities and further our pursuit of a world where everyone has a decent place to live.

Now more than ever we need your help. We can’t do it without friends like you. Interested in connecting with your local Habitat?

How we work

We partner with families all over the world working alongside them to build, repair and finance their homes, by:

  • Helping older homeowners stay in their homes and communities through affordable repairs.

  • Creating sustainable, energy-efficient homes and advancing healthy housing innovations.

  • Partnering with families and communities to better prepare for disasters—and supporting recovery when they strike.

  • Advocating for policy change at every level of government to expand access to housing.

  • Creating pathways to fair and affordable financing to make homeownership more attainable.

When you support Habitat for Humanity, you empower people in your community to build homes that cost less and last longer – and you help shape the housing landscape in the U.S. and globally.

Every safe, affordable home sparks wider change, leading to better health, education and well-being, more economic growth and less poverty. Strong communities and bright futures – it all starts with a home.
