Bratislava (December 3, 2024) – Habitat for Humanity International is thrilled to announce the continuation of its collaboration with the Employee Foundation of the VKR Group, a Danish holding and investment company in the building industry, marking a significant milestone in the mission to create affordable housing solutions. Building on their successful partnership since 2022, this alliance expands its impact to support the transformative “Empty Spaces to Homes” initiative, which repurposes vacant buildings into affordable housing for vulnerable populations across Europe.

Through Habitat’s Disaster Response, and with the help of volunteers and donors like you, we are able to provide shelter assistance, education, training and partnerships to the affected individuals who find themselves in unthinkable situations.

Habitat’s response to this war meets affected families where they are, supporting their short-, mid- and long-term housing needs to achieve stability and recovery.

Habitat collaborates with partner microfinance institutions and helps them develop housing loans, provides trainings to homeowners on managing their loans, and offers construction assistance.

Bratislava (September 15, 2024) — Habitat for Humanity is pleased to announce the continuation and expansion of its partnership with Umdasch Group, an Austrian-based global leader in construction and retail solutions. After a successful collaboration last year, Umdasch Group has decided to extend the partnership until the end of 2024, incorporating new subsidiaries and scaling up its volunteering efforts.
