Since 1984, President and Mrs. Carter have been champions and groudbreaking voices for affordable, decent housing for all, donating their time and leadership each year to build and improve homes through Habitat’s Carter Work Project.

Habitat for Humanity teams are readying their response as wildfires continue to rage across Southern California. Initial reports indicate some Habitat homes were destroyed in the region and the organization will continue to conduct assessments as soon as it is safe to do so.
