Habitat for Humanity teams are assessing damage to homes throughout the regions affected by Hurricane Ida as the organization readies its response to aid the long-term housing recovery.

The award will be used to help Habitat affiliates across the U.S. further address the systemic barriers that have prevented many underserved populations, particularly Black Americans, from owning homes.
