From around the world, children share what their Habitat for Humanity homes mean to them through hand-drawn illustrations of celebrating their favorite holidays.

Some met the love of their life on the build site. Others strengthened the bond they already had. All say volunteering with Habitat for Humanity is a meaningful part of their relationship.

Funded by The Home Depot Foundation, Habitat’s Repair Corps program looks to build, repair or rehabilitate an additional 170 veteran-owned homes this year.

Habitat’s campaign is continuing to fundraise throughout April and raise awareness of the growing need for affordable housing across the U.S.
